ESL strikes deal with Acer's Predator

Gravity Media has announced a partnership deal with the esports event organizer ESL Gaming. The partnership will see Gravity Media supply production services for all of ESL Gaming’s international esports events. The collaboration is said to be valid for three years.

The company will provide exclusive services for esports events like the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Cologne, ESL One Malaysia, DreamHack Atlanta, IEM Rio Major, and several others. ESL Gaming would utilize the production company’s service as well as their equipment, expertise, and specialized human resources to ensure that the output is a cutting-edge esports production to meet the complex and versatile ESL requirements globally.?

ESL Gaming’s SVP Production, Tobias Grieser, talked about the partnership with Gravity Media and claimed the collaboration would lead to new doors opened to enable them properly deliver.

“Having the best possible broadcast experience is fundamental to us, as this is how we can bring our most memorable and iconic moments to all of the fans around the globe,” he said.

Gravity’s Managing Director in EMEA, Ed Tischler, also had some words to say about the recent partnership.

“The future for eSports is bright, offering many opportunities for new and exciting broadcasting approaches to provide the perfect environment for companies to engage with their clients. Gravity Media is excited to be working alongside ESL Gaming on multiple prestigious esports events,” he said.

“This project marks another truly global team effort where Gravity Media looks forward to capturing more from the thrilling esports action taking place over the globe. Our teams and offices in America, Australia, Europe, and across the Middle-East are excited to join forces with ESL Gaming to offer our world-leading expertise and support.”

Gravity Media had some dealings with esports before they collaborated with ESL. Since 2020, the production company has held the position as the producer of the Cash Converters Supercars Eseries. It also previously worked on the ePremier League with BLAST. Its other esports partnership was with Gfinity when they collaborated to work on the F1 Esports series.?

ESL has gathered a large number of partners this year, and Gravity Media is just one of the many. This year alone, the organization has collaborated with ASUS, Spotify, Nielsen, and Lenovo Legion.?

ESL Gaming’s partnership with Gravity Media will allow the tournament organizer to have access to the wide range of equipment that the company rents and its knowledge to aid their attempts to assemble high-quality sports events globally. The two parties gave little details on the agreement; however, Gravity Media claimed it would supply “expertise, equipment, and specialized human resources” to the organization.?

ESL Gaming organizes video game tournaments all around the world. It is the world’s largest and oldest esports organization still in operation and was the largest in the world in 2015.

It was revealed this year that Savvy Gaming Group (SGG), a holding company owned by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, purchased ESL. ESL Gaming is known to host tournaments in titles such as Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Dota 2,?Halo,?Rainbow Six,?Hearthstone,?Heroes of the Storm,?Mortal Kombat,?Smite,?StarCraft II, and?World of Tanks.

On the other hand, Gravity Media is a popular production and live broadcast organization. Over time, it has led to the coverage of several high-profile events in the sports and music worlds globally. Some of the company’s most notable projects include the World Chase Tag Championship, Roland Garros, the Europa League Final, and Goodwoof. Towards the end of the year, Gravity will also be part of the production team for the FIFA World Cup held in Qatar.?
