ESB’s free Dota 2 betting predictions for Wednesday, March 16, focus on a pair of Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Western Europe 2021/22 Tour 2 Division II bouts. Here are our selections for CHILLAX vs goonsquad and Alliance vs Into The Breach, with top odds courtesy of GG Bet.

CHILLAX vs GOONSQUAD Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: CHILLAX $2.50 at GG Bet | GS $1.50 at GG Bet
When: March 16, 2022 | 18:00 CET

?Featuring Stoyan “lil pleb” Kostov, Samu “MTD” Hautala, Verros “Maybe Next Time” Apostolos, Oleg “Lodine” Kvasha, and Mathias “OwnedMe” Huynh, CHILLAX are an interesting team to follow, with enough potential to compete for a top-six finish. But while CHILLAX should be able to cause some damage, beating goonsquad might be too much to ask.

Goonsquad are a team consisting mainly of the old Alliance members, including Linus “Limmp” Blomdin, Gustav “s4” Magnusson, and Simon “Handsken” Rasmus Haag. Admittedly, Alliance struggled to achieve much with this core, but their lack of success came mainly at the highest level of play.

So even though s4 and co. weren’t able to win a single high-profile tournament, it’s easy to understand why they’re expected to dominate the lower division. At $1.50 to defeat CHILLAX, goonsquad are a solid pick, but considering the talent gap, you can safely take goonsquad with a -1.5 handicap.

ALLIANCE vs INTO THE BREACH Dota 2 BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Alliance $1.25 at GG Bet | ITB $3.75 at GG Bet
When: March 16, 2022 | 21:00 CET
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/DreamLeague)

Alliance have been struggling quite a lot of late, not only with their performances but also with keeping players on the team and bringing in new faces to join their ranks. Similarly, Into The Breach had difficulty keeping the roster together and went through their fair share of roster changes during the offseason. Still, they found solid replacements in Alexei “j4” Lipai from Ghost Frogs, Rasmus Johan “Chessie” Blomdin from Chicken Fighters, and Simon “Bill” Wharton, who is a bit unfamiliar to the scene.

We have yet to see either of the two new-look rosters play an official match, so it’s tough to say what should happen on Wednesday. Alliance look better on paper, but there is no explanation for why they’re priced as low as $1.25. The Breach seem underrated and a solid bet with a map advantage.
