ENCE overhauled their Counter-Strike esports roster with two new players, Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara and Ryan “Neityu” Aubry, who joined the lineup on Friday, October 11.
Along with the two signings, ENCE announced the benching of Kacper “Kylar” Walukiewicz, who stepped down from the active lineup after ten months to make room for the new arrivals.
These mark the most recent changes, after Krzysztof “Goofy” Górski moved to an inactive roster to take a competitive break.
Two Young Talents Join ENCE
Neityu joins ENCE as one of the more promising young French Counter-Strike talents, who started his esports career in January 2021 on GenOne.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a short stint with Team LDLC in 2022 and, in September 2023, signed for MOUZ NXT.
In the MOUZ academy team, he played alongside Christoffer “Chr1zN” Storgaard, William “sirah” Kj?rsgaard, and Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo – all of whom moved on to compete at the next level with OG, TSM, and MOUZ.
His new teammate, xKacpersky joined ENCE from Young Ninjas, who he signed for in April earlier this year.
Despite his lack of experience, having made his first professional appearance at Roobet Arena September 2023: Europe, xKacpersky assisted Ninjas in Pyjamas’ main roster at ESL Pro League Season 19 as a temporary replacement for Fredrik “REZ” Sterner.
“Both xKacpersky and Neityu are young and relatively inexperienced players, but they possess immense potential. They are true grinders, eager to play, learn, and improve every day,” said ENCE head coach Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn
“Despite having less experience, they don’t shy away from responsibility and are willing to take matters into their own hands. They bring a fresh energy and drive to the team.”
Neityu and xKacpersky are the first new signings ENCE have made since the addition of Paavo “podi” Heiskanen and Viktor “sdy” Orudzhev, who joined the team in May.
Danish in-game leader Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander is the only remaining player on ENCE since the major roster overhaul at the end of 2023, when Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer, Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia, and Pavle “maden” Bo?kovi? moved to Team Falcons.
The recent roster change follows a long dry streak for ENCE, who have yet to win a tournament title in 2024. The closest they’ve come was in June when ENCE reached the semifinals of ESL Challenger at DreamHack Summer 2024.
More recently, however, ENCE have found a new low and crashed out of Thunderpick World Championship 2024: European Series #2 and ESL Pro League Season 20 in last place.
Neityu and xKacpersky Debut at Elisa Masters Espoo 2024
Neityu and xKacpersky will play their first official match for ENCE at Elisa Masters Espoo 2024. The tournament is set to begin on Wednesday, October 16, with the first round of the group stage, when ENCE face off against 9z Team.
ENCE are priced as $2.62 underdogs with the best Counter-Strike betting sites for their first fixture with the two new signings and $16.00 outsiders on the outright betting markets.
