ESB’s free League of Legends betting tips for Thursday focus on two matches in the LoL Champions Korea (LCK) 2021 Summer campaign. Here are the best bets and top odds on offer for Liiv SANDBOX vs Gen.G and Nongshim RedForce vs T1.

LIIV SANDBOX vs GEN.G LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: SANDBOX $4.26 at GG Bet | Gen.G $1.20 at GG Bet

?If we look at the LCK 2021 Summer stats, Gen.G are a cut above all other Korean LoL teams. They lead the charts in kill/death ratio (1.62), gold per minute (1851), kills per game (13.8), towers killed (7.2), first blood (72.7%), and are ranked in the top four in all other metrics.

That’s even more impressive when you consider that the current meta and champion pool don’t seem to suit Gen.G too much. However, they are very decisive in their drafts and like to commit to one strategy, which is arguably the best approach to battle the current volatile state of the game.

Liiv SANDBOX enter this match as rank underdogs, but their odds seem quite high for a team that crushed Hanwha Life Esports and T1 last week. We talked about SANDBOX’s high ceiling last season and it’s finally showing, although it’s unclear how long can they keep their wheels spinning.

Gen.G are clearly the better team, but $4.26 is way overs for a team with as much talent as Liiv SANDBOX possess. Betting on the underdogs to win is a bit too risky for our liking, but we’re satisfied with the odds offered on the map handicap.

NONGSHIM REDFORCE vs T1 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: RedForce $3.08 at GG Bet | T1 $1.34 at GG Bet

?The problem with figuring out how T1 will do in their games is that you don’t know who they will field since LCK teams usually don’t release that information until the matchday. They are an elite team and can take on anyone in the league, even with one or two substitutes, although they’ve been rather mistake-prone of late.

This is another match where the odds on the underdogs seem a bit high. Nongshim RedForce have been playing exceptionally well this split, largely thanks to their strong mid-jungle duo in Kim “Gori” Tae-woo and Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, who have been great in creating early-game pressure and in neutral objective control. However, RedForce still come up short in late-game decision making.

Due to their iffy late game, betting on Nongshim to win the series doesn’t appeal to us. However, we’re more than happy to take the outsiders with a map handicap, as their strong early game should help them secure at least one map.
