The player handled the role of mid laner in the esports team and caught the eye of several esports experts and fans due to his performance this season.

After announcing the All-Pro Team and Rookie of the Split, fans waited with bated breath for the winner of the most coveted title to be announced. The MVP award is usually given to the LEC player who played the most part in their teams success. This includes helping them get important wins in the LEC playoff run-offs and performing in top form during the game.

Nisqy was among one the favorites to receive the award after finishing in the opening All-Pro Team held this summer. The player also earned seven Player of the Game awards, the most recorded in the regular season.

The mid laner received 124 MVP votes in total from broadcast partners, teams, casters, and affiliated media. The votes were double that of the runner-up, his MAD Lions teammate, Javier “Elyoya” Prades, who came in second. Rasmus “caPs” Winther, G2s midlaner, finished in third place, but he has been awarded three MVP awards in his career.

The MVP award is Nigsys first, but he was previously a part of two All-Pro teams, first in North America (Spring 2020) and then in Europe (Summer 2022). He is the third mid laner to be given the title since it started in 2014. Caps was the first, and then Vincent Vetheo Berri, the most recent winner in spring 2022.

Nisqy joined the MAD Lions in May this year and helped the team reach second place with a 12-6 record at the end of the regular season despite being unable to qualify for the spring playoffs. He was signed onto the team after being away from professional play for six months.

He previously played with Fnatic, and went on to part ways with the team after performing poorly in the 2021 League of Legends World Championship. In December of that year, Nisqy was moved to a substitute position in the squad but did not find a new team in time for the 2022 season.

In order to sign on the player, MAD Lions player Steven Reeker Che was moved to a LFL team, BDS Academy, earlier. Nisqys performance was undoubtedly integral to the teams improvement this season.

The MAD Lions were previously unable to qualify for the playoffs for the 2022 LEC Spring Split and finished the tournament in seventh place. The team earned an 8-10 record, much different from when they won both splits in 2021.

Nisqy earned a 4.3 KDA in the regular season, and an impressive 75.2 percent kill participation. The player is expected to earn another MVP award in the playoffs. He was previously named as the preferred gamer to win the MVP award by past MVP winners like Caps and Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski.

MAD Lions began their summer split journey on August 26, with a game against Rogue. Despite being close favorites with moneyline odds of $1.88 and $1.97 for Rogue with the top betting sites, MAD Lions lost to Rogue. Due to the 2-3 defeat, the Spanish franchise made an early exit from the playoffs.

The winner of the summer split will be crowned the domestic champion and automatically qualify for the highly anticipated 2022 World Championship. Four European teams will reportedly represent the region in the international event in a bid to clinch a large chunk of the $2,225,000 prize pool.

Jankos secures double celebration as G2 defeats Rogue on his birthday at the 2022 LEC Summer Split https://www.townofmangoniapark.com/jankos-secures-double-celebration-as-g2-defeats-rogue-on-his-birthday-at-the-2022-lec-summer-split/ https://www.townofmangoniapark.com/jankos-secures-double-celebration-as-g2-defeats-rogue-on-his-birthday-at-the-2022-lec-summer-split/#respond Sun, 24 Jul 2022 17:47:47 +0000 https://www.townofmangoniapark.com/?p=22050 G2 Esports have broken their win drought as they celebrate jungler Marcin “Jankos” Jankowskis birthday in grand style by defeating Rogue in the second half of the 2022 League of Legends European Championship Summer Split.

After going two weeks without a win, the perennial LEC champions returned to the winner’s circle with an impressive win over Rogue, one of the strongest teams in the league with the least number of losses.

Rogue entered the fifth week of the split on the back of a league-best eight-game winning streak. The franchise have been undefeated since the second week. They have positioned themselves as the best team in the region, having maintained top-level consistency more than any other team.

For G2, they have had to struggle in a bid to replicate their form from the 2022 Spring Split. Prior to their win against Rogue, the German-based franchise were on a four-game losing streak.

Due to Kim “Malrang” Geun-seongs inability to find successful ganks on Volibear, G2 snatched a small lead early on in the game over Rogue. His impact was reduced even further with the Relentless Storm having suffered hits more recently with significant nerfs. It didn’t help that the Relentless Storm had recently received significant nerfs, reducing his impact even further. Rogue could not contain G2 as the franchise’s revitalized teamfighting proved to be much more than they could handle, despite having some well-timed picks on Sergen “Broken Blade” ?elik.

To paint a better picture, at 21 minutes of the game, G2 dominated a teamfight with the great positioning and good initiative on Victor Lirola “Flakked” Tortosas part as regards his movement, before blowing the game up with a free Baron moments after. The 21-year old AD carry popped off throughout the game and dealt with tons of damage to Aphelios.

Later in the game, owing to G2’s mistakes, Rogue were able to get a baron of their own, but a smart gameplay led by Broken Blade put the franchise at a disadvantage. The German forced Rogue to split off the team in order to defend the base while also attempting to contest the game’s third baron. G2 dominated the ensuing teamfight, capturing the Baron and the Elder Dragon as the team sped to victory in the 38th minute.

By the end of the game, G2 Esports secured 17 kills as opposed to Rogues 5 in the best-of-one match-up. All five Rogue kills were made by Markos “Comp” Stamkopoulos, with every player on the roster securing a minimum of 2 deaths.

Every player on G2’s roster secured at least a kill, with the birthday boy leading the franchise with 6 kills. Rasmus Borregaard “CaPs” Winther was next in line with 4 kills and no deaths for the Danish man.

Jankos stated that the team struggled to find the right composition for the current meta throughout their losing streak. Their individual lapses did not help the team’s cause in getting out of the slump. The win over Rogue is said to possibly represent an upward climb for the team in the rest of the league.https://www.townofmangoniapark.com/?p=22050&preview=true

Having suffered only a lone defeat at the hands of G2 in five outings, Excel have proven to be a top-tier team.

While some fans believed the team’s first-place position at the start of the tournament was a fluke. The team led by head coach Joey “YoungBuck” Steltenpool have continuously been consistent with their stellar performances.

MAD Lions came into the game on the back of a huge win against Fnatic. Pegged as one of the best teams in the league, the team was the favorite to win the game with the top betting sites. But were handed a thrashing by Excel Esports in their second week 2 fixture.

While their new laner Yasin Nisqy Din?er, who seems to have settled in quickly with the franchise, adds some depth to the team. Even he could not be of much help to the team against the British esports organization. The Belgian, who joined the team from Fnatic secured the lone kill recorded by the Spanish-owned franchise.

Excels opening moment in the best-of-one outing was nothing short of dominating. They posted a perfect three-man dive in the bottom lane, recorded by jungler Mark Markoon van Woense. At the top lane was Erlend nukeduck V?tevik Holm who made a great roam, they looked compact and confident in their approach.

Under 17 minutes, Excel Esports had secured three dragons, locked in two Rift Heralds, and only lost two towers. Their gameplay was stellar with Markoon acting as a perfect catalyst for the team, allowing bot laner Patrik Patrik Jiru and mid-laner Nukeduck the opportunity to eliminate their opponents.

Excel Esports secured 18 kills as opposed to MAD Lions lone kill. Patrik led Excel with 9 kills and 7 assists, with Markoon behind him with 7 kills and 8 assists. Nukeduck was the only player who suffered a defeat to MAD Lions Nisqy but recorded 2 kills and 9 assists of his own.

The lone death is a key performance indicator of how almost perfect Excel Esports performed, alongside great team fight positioning. Their early dominance saw them secure a massive lead that MAD Lions could not withstand. In 21 minutes, Excel had destroyed MAD Lions nexus, leaving the strong and fierce team that took down Fnatic in impressive fashion with their heads hanging low.

Excel Esports have thus far had a good run in the summer split, securing wins against Team Vitality, Fnatic, Misfits Gaming, and MAD Lions. They have been pegged as a possible challenger for the title, having defeated two championship contenders.

They will be taking on Rogue Esports in their first week 3 fixture and the last place Team BDS in their second.

Here are our free LEC Summer predictions for SK Gaming vs Misfits Gaming, Rogue vs Astralis, and Team Vitality vs G2 Esports, with odds courtesy of the best esports bet sites.

SK GAMING vs MISFITS GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: SK $1.90 at GG Bet | MSF $1.80 at GG Bet
When: June 25, 2022 |17:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

SK Gaming won the first game of LEC 2022 Summer but lost the next two, which doesn’t look good on paper. However, their defeats came against MAD Lions and Fnatic, so there is no shame in that. Their next opponents, Misfits Gaming, lost all three of their matches – against Excel Esports, Team Vitality, and Astralis.

We don’t mind Misfits losing against Vitality, but seeing them slip against Excel and Astralis does bring our rating of this squad down a notch. With the players on this team, Misfits should improve once they get a better read on the meta, but that might take them weeks.

Misfits have better players and a realistic chance to win, but based on what we’ve seen, it’s tough to justify backing them at this price, and we don’t like SK at $1.90 with esports betting sites either. So instead, we’ll go for a bet on over 24.5 kills.

Due to the current scaling meta and the changes to turret damage, LoL games C especially in Europe – tend to be longer with explosive late-game teamfights. Combine that with the fact that SK and Misfits average 14 and 20 deaths respectively, and we have a perfect recipe for a bloody game.

ROGUE vs ASTRALIS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: RGE $1.25 at GG Bet | AST $3.75 at GG Bet
When: June 25, 2022 |19:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Rogue are undeniably much stronger than Astralis, but this is a high price to pay on a team that has won just one game this split. What’s more, Rogue’s only win (against MAD Lions) was a complete fluke. In their defence, Rogue had the toughest schedule in the league CFnatic, G2, and MAD Lions C so it’s not fair to criticise them too much. But at the same time, they’ve yet to impress.

Astralis started the LEC summer split with a defeat against G2 Esports but then bounced back with back-to-back wins against Team BDS and Misfits Gaming, which is impressive for their standards. Still, their 2-1 record doesn’t hold much weight considering they’ve beaten the only two teams who are 0-3 ahead of LEC 2022 Summer Week 2.

Rogue should win this match, but they’re not a good bet at $1.25, nor would we back them to cover the 7.5 kill line. But Astralis, with a 7.5 kill advantage, is a pick we’re ready to follow. How this game plays out will rely heavily on how Astralis draft, but $1.83 seems a bit high for the offered line.

TEAM VITALITY vs G2 ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: VIT $2.50 at GG Bet | G2 $1.50 at GG Bet
When: June 25, 2022 |21:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Team Vitality might not deserve to be considered as the top European team, but are playing better this split. It seems they’re not getting the recognition they deserve purely due to their abysmal run in LEC 2022 Spring, but if you watch the film, it’s evident that Vitality are much more stable this time out.

G2 Esports are $1.50 favourites for this match, which is way too optimistic. They did well at the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational, and they’ve yet to lose a game this split, but their only wins came against Astralis, the shaky Rogue, and Excel Esports.

We would still give G2 a slight edge because we know they’ll deliver, but $2.50 with GG.Bet esports on Vitality is too good to pass on. This is a very winnable match for the Bees, who might not be a superteam everyone expected them to be, but they’re undeniably good enough to go toe-to-toe with LEC’s top dogs.

Here are our selections for Team Vitality vs MAD Lions and Misfits Gaming vs Excel Esports, with LoL betting odds courtesy of GG Bet.

TEAM VITALITY vs MAD LIONS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Vitality $1.44 at GG Bet | MAD $2.62 at GG Bet
When: June 17, 2022 | 18:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

?MAD Lions made an interesting roster change in May with the signing of former Fnatic mid laner Yasin “Nisqy” Din?er. He could be a perfect addition, not necessarily because he is more talented than Steven “Reeker” Chen, but stylistically, he should fit in this roster better.

When MAD Lions were successful, they had Marek “Humanoid” Brzda, who is a better version of Nisqy, but a stylistically very similar player. So as long as supportive mid laners (Twister Fate, Galio) are in meta, MAD Lions should do fine.

LEC saw a lot of weird roster changes this offseason, but Team Vitality’s decision to replace jungler Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek with Kang “Haru” Min-seung is quite shocking. Reportedly, Selfmade and the rest of the players couldn’t agree on how the game should be played, in which case the change could improve the synergy. But quality-wise, Vitality have downgraded its roster.

On paper, Vitality are still much stronger, but MAD Lions have the potential to be nearly as good as they were in 2021. At $2.62, MAD Lions seem underestimated and are an excellent underdog pick for the first round of LEC 2022 Summer.

Alternatively, MAD with a +5.5 kill handicap is a solid choice given the current trend of low-scoring games.

MISFITS GAMING vs EXCEL ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: Misfits $1.83 at GG Bet | Excel $1.83 at GG Bet
When: June 17, 2022 | 20:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

?Excel Esports had a good spring split, but this team has minimal upside, so we wouldn’t expect much from them in LEC 2022 Summer. ADC Patrik “Patrik” Jr? and support Mihael “Mikyx” Mehle are both excellent players, but besides the bottom lane Excel don’t have much talent.

Mid laner Erlend “nukeduck” V?tevik Holm was surprisingly good during LEC 2022 Spring (relative to expectations), but he should not come even close to that level in the current meta. If we draw a line, Excel are a fairly mediocre team whose ceiling is making the playoffs.

Misfits Gaming replaced top laner Shin “HiRit” Tae-min with Joel “Irrelevant” Miro Scharoll at the end of May, which is a very strange move that likely won’t help the Bunnies’ chances to compete for the title. Irrelevant might prove to be an upgrade, but Misfits have other weaknesses, namely jungler Lucjan “Shlatan” Ahmad, who has to prove that he is more than Lee Sin one-trick.

This is a very tricky match to predict, largely because we don’t know how the LEC meta will develop, so we will stick with a proven method of betting on low-scoring games.

Riot Games announces schedule for 2022 LEC Summer Split https://www.townofmangoniapark.com/riot-games-announces-schedule-for-2022-lec-summer-split/ https://www.townofmangoniapark.com/riot-games-announces-schedule-for-2022-lec-summer-split/#respond Sun, 08 May 2022 19:55:42 +0000 https://www.townofmangoniapark.com/?p=20045 The schedule for the League of Legends 2022 Summer Split has been revealed, with proceedings to commence on June 17. The announcement was made via the LEC’s official Twitter account.

“The #LEC Summer Season kicks off on June 17!”

Ten European teams will come together once again to compete, this time, for one of the three slots available for the 2022 World Championship. Although no word on the format or prize pool of the Worlds has been revealed, it promises to be the biggest event in 2022 League of Legends.

The 2021 World Championship was held in Reykjavik, Iceland, with a $2,225,000 prize pool. MAD Lions, Fnatic, and Rogue represented Europe, but MAD Lions went the farthest, finishing 8th of the 22 teams that participated in the competition.

Chinese esports organization EDward Gaming won the competition, walking away with $489,500.

MAD Lions, despite winning the 2021 Summer Split, have been off their pace. They have not had a good run this year, following a seventh-place finish in the 2022 LEC Spring.

Nonetheless, they will have an opportunity to redeem themselves come June, competing against nine other European teams, including Astralis, Excel Esports Fnatic, G2 Esports, Misfits Gaming, Rogue, SK Gaming, Team BDS, and Team Vitality.

Their form in 2021 was sublime, defeating G2 3-1 in the playoffs semifinals and sweeping Rogue in the winners’ finals. In the grand final, Fnatic was the unlucky opponent, losing 3-1 after an impressive run in the losers’ bracket.

The 2022 edition will follow a double round-robin format, with each team playing 18 games in the group stage. Teams have to be locked in from the jump as this round permits only a single match. Based on the win-loss percentage, teams will know their placement ahead of the playoffs.

While MAD has not been impressive, G2 Esports are worth keeping an eye on when the time comes. They won the 2022 LEC Spring split, sweeping Rogue in the best-of-5 showdown to qualify for the Mid-Season Invitational.

As we await the start of the Summer Split, fans can keep themselves entertained with the MSI. Some of the best teams across the world will be coming together to compete for a piece of the $250,000 prize pool.

The Invitational will commence on May 10 in Busan, South Korea, as all teams will be on ground to participate in the LAN event, with the exception of the LPL’s representative. Royal Never Give Up will be unable to travel due to COVID-19, and will be allowed to participate remotely.

Some teams are currently undergoing roster reconstruction ahead of the summer. One of such is Astralis, who have brought in three new players after winning only three matches in the LEC Spring.

The LEC promises to be an intriguing event, as there is more at stake for teams.

Here are our picks for DWG KIA vs T1, 100 Thieves vs Cloud9, and Rogue vs Fnatic.

DWG KIA vs T1 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: DWG $1.38 at GG Bet | T1 $3.14 at GG Bet
When: August 28, 2021 at 17:00 KST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

?DWG KIA and T1 have made it to the LCK 2021 Summer finals as two of the strongest Korean LoL teams. T1 had to make it past Liiv SANDBOX (3-0) and Gen.G (3-1), while DWG KIA only had to face Nongshim RedForce (3-0).

DWG KIA’s performance metrics over the regular season show 4% Average Gold Spent Percentage Difference (GSPD), 0.38 Gold Percent Rating (GPR), 52.7 Early Game Rating (EGR), 14.7 Mid-Late Game Rating (MLR), and +337 Gold Difference at 15 min (GD@15). In comparison, T1 numbers show 3.5% GSPD, 0.74 GPR, 58.6 EGR, -1.7 MLR, and +1065 GD@15.

If we look at only the figures from the playoff matches, DWG KIA have managed 8.5% GSPD, 1.98 GPR, 80.6 EGR, 19.4 MLR, and +2574 GD@15, while T1 produced 1.7% GSPD, 0.91 GPR, 56.6 EGR, 29.1 MLR, and +940 GD@15. Even though DWG KIA’s metrics include only three games, we have to keep in mind that they have been gaining serious traction for a few weeks now.

DWG KIA seem like the most likely victors, largely due to their improvement in the latter stages of the season, but we wouldn’t bet on them at the offered LoL betting odds. Instead, we like T1 on the first blood (FB) market across all five maps at $1.94. This is an excellent price, considering T1 have averaged the highest FB% in the league at 68%, while DWG KIA’s is at only 47%.

LoL Betting Odds: 100T $2.12 at GG Bet | C9 $1.75 at GG Bet

?100 Thieves outperformed Cloud9 in the LCS 2021 Summer regular-season; however, they have yet to impress during the playoffs. So while we have to praise them for beating Evil Geniuses and forcing Team Liquid to five maps, 100T could have done much better in their last two series.

On the other side, we have Cloud9, who have had quite a few slip-ups this season, most notably their 1-3 loss against Team Liquid in the 2021 LCS Championship opener. However, the boys in blue have since improved quite drastically and seem to have found their stride just in time to compete for another LCS title.

Individually, there is not a lot to set these two teams apart, so it will all come down to their players’ clutch factor. And that is where Cloud9 should have an edge, largely thanks to Luka “Perkz” Perkovi?.

It could be a close match, and there is a solid chance we might see five maps, but if we had to pick a side, Cloud9 are a better bet.

ROGUE vs FNATIC LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: Rogue $1.89 at GG Bet | Fnatic $1.94 at GG Bet
When: August 28, 2021 at 17:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

?Fnatic achieved what many believed was impossible and made it into the LEC 2021 Summer playoffs lower bracket finals. It is a miracle run of sorts, but it wouldn’t be fair to say that Fnatic don’t deserve to be where they are.

Many will be quick to point out that Fnatic needed five maps to win their playoffs bouts, which might make you believe that Fnatic were only slightly better than Team Vitality, Misfits Gaming, and G2 Esports. However, that’s not necessarily the case.

Fnatic should have beaten Misfits and G2 Esports with 3-1, yet they C in their own style C threw away massive leads and gave up a map. So, the quality is there; however, you can feel slightly concerned with Fnatic’s over-aggression.

Their next opponents, Rogue, were billed as the main favourites to win the LEC 2021 Summer title, but it was soon made clear that Rogue were perhaps a bit overrated due to their regular-season success. They first struggled against Misfits Gaming (3-2) and then completely fell apart against MAD Lions, who beat them 3-0 on Saturday.

You could argue that Fnatic overachieved; however, you can’t really defend Rogue for what they have produced in their last two playoffs bouts either. Rogue come off as an individually better team and should win as long as they can prevent Fnatic from playing their own game, but as Vitality, Misfits, and G2 can confirm, that is easier said than done.

Rare Atom last met with Team WE at the start of June, when they edged out a 2-1 victory; however, WE have since improved, so they should do better this time out.

Team WE enter this match as one of the most efficient early-game teams in the league, as evident from their Gold Difference (GD) metrics, which show +594 GD@10, +2303 GD@15, and +1725 GD@20. Those figures rank them fourth, first and first in the league respectively. In contrast, Rare Atom have managed +142 GD@10, +857 GD@15, and +1575 GD@20 C seventh, third, and third in the league.

Team WE’s pre-20 GD numbers are directly related to their strong Herald control (60.5%); however, they lack in Drake (49.2%) and Baron (57.1%). Those stats indicate that beating Team WE is fairly simple C survive the early game and draft scaling, which is Rare Atom’s preferred style of play.

This should be a stylistic nightmare for Team WE. Although WE are in hot form, we would argue that Rare Atom should be priced as the betting favourites.

MISFITS GAMING vs FNATIC LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: Misfits $2.06 at GG Bet | Fnatic $1.79 at GG Bet

?Misfits Gaming surprised many with their close five-map series against Rogue (2-3) on Friday, and you could even argue that the Bunnies should have won that match. Fnatic, meanwhile, edged past Team Vitality (3-2) in their opening match of the playoffs.

Fnatic played well, and they seem close to the form they’ve been showing midway through the summer season. Fnatic’s bottom lane is still a force to be reckoned with, while their top side is surprisingly solid. Mid laner Yasin “Nisqy” Din?er can be hit-or-miss with a strong upside, while jungler Gabri?l “Bwipo” Rau is the same playmaker he was during his time in the top lane.

Individually, Fnatic are a better team than Misfits; however, they aren’t as consistent, for which they could get punished. The teams’ win conditions for this match are fairly simple C Misfits need to play the same way they usually do and hope Fnatic beat themselves, whereas Fnatic need to counter Misfits’ strong top side and rely on their bottom lane to do their thing.

Misfits are 2-0 up in the head-to-head with Fnatic on the season; however, they had the luxury of facing Fnatic while they were struggling with their form. This match has a five-map series written all over it, but we have to favour Fnatic to come out ahead.

IMMORTALS vs TSM LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: Immortals $1.66 at GG Bet | TSM $2.27 at GG Bet

?TSM got stomped by Team Liquid on Sunday (1-3) and now need to fight their way through the lower bracket for a ticket for the 2021 LoL World Championship. Their next opponents, Immortals, eased past Dignitas with an excellent showing, but it remains to be seen whether they’ll look as good against the LCS regular-season champions.

TSM lead Immortals 5-0 in the head-to-head over the 2021 LCS season and are expected to add their sixth on Friday. That might happen; however, we don’t believe TSM will be as dominant as the latest LoL betting odds suggest.

Immortals have done relatively well against TSM in their last three clashes and should have won at least once. They might not have as many star names, but Immortals are good enough to push TSM to their limits and are a solid bet with a +1.5 map handicap.

Here are our best bets for Evil Geniuses vs 100 Thieves and G2 Esports vs MAD Lions.

EVIL GENIUSES vs 100 THIEVES LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: EG $1.98 at GG Bet | 100T $1.85 at GG Bet
When: August 14, 2021 at 14:00 PDT

?Evil Geniuses made it into the second round of the playoffs after crushing Dignitas (3-1) on Saturday. It was a fairly straightforward win for EG, who were a much better team on the day, and while they have had a few iffy moments, namely their members getting caught out of position, that mostly had to do with EG feeling a bit too confident with their lead.

Evil Geniuses’ next series is against 100 Thieves, which promises to be a spectacular matchup between two of the best LCS teams. If we compare these two squads, there isn’t a lot to separate them, although we like EG slightly better.

Evil Geniuses have been averaging some of the best performance metrics across four major regions and are 3-2 up in the head-to-head on the year (2-0 in summer), making them a solid bet at $1.98. You also can’t go wrong with a smaller stake on a -1.5 map handicap at $2.80.

G2 ESPORTS vs MAD LIONS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: G2 $1.73 at GG Bet | MAD $2.14 at GG Bet
When: August 14, 2021 at 17:00 PDT
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

?MAD Lions are the reigning LEC champions but, if you look at their whole-season numbers and compare it to G2 Esports, it’s tough to make a strong case in their favour. MAD Lions are a good team; however, they don’t seem as solid as they were in April when they took the LEC trophy from Rogue.

Perhaps the whole-season numbers don’t show an accurate picture of how this match should go. But if we only analyse the performance metrics G2 and MAD have produced across the final few weeks of the regular season, it becomes evident that G2 are a much better team.

Across their last seven outings, G2 have managed 0.36 Gold Percentage Rating (GPR), 4.1% Average Gold Spent Percentage Difference (GSPD), 49.9 Early Game Rating (EGR), and the league’s highest 36.7 Mid Late Game Rating (MLR). In contrast, MAD Lions managed 0.03 GPR, 0.8% GSPD, 49.7 EGR, and 21.7 MLR.

We’re happy to take G2 Esports at $1.73.

ROGUE vs MISFITS GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: Rogue $1.28 at GG Bet | Misfits $3.84 at GG Bet
When: August 13, 2021 at 18:00 CEST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

?Rogue enter the LEC 2021 Summer playoffs as one of the favourites to go all the way and hoist the organisation’s first LEC trophy. They’re priced as low as $2.80 for the title with the top LoL betting sites, tying them with G2 Esports.

Rogue finished the regular season first with a 13-5 record after registering five wins and two losses across the last three weeks of play. Although Rogue have had a few slip-ups, they have been by far the most consistent team in the league, largely thanks to their controlled style of play.

Kacper “Inspired” S?oma and co. are 2-0 up in the head-to-head against Misfits Gaming and are expected to win on Friday, but the $1.28 is a little short for our liking. As good as Rogue have been over the season, they historically underperform in the playoffs, although we don’t expect that to show until they meet some trickier opponents in the latter stages.

Misfits Gaming aren’t quite at the level of Rogue, but they have quietly put together an impressive season. The Bunnies also ended the regular season with the highest Mid-Late Game Rating (18.5 MLR) in the league, although they are well behind Rogue in all other performance metrics.

We expect Rogue to win, but it won’t be a clean sweep. A small wager on the game ending in a 3-1 victory for Rogue is worth a go.

Rogue 3-1
