Another big week of pro gaming kicks off on June 24, 2024, with League of Legends taking the focus of the esports world.

The top four LoL regional leagues will close out the first half of their respective summer splits before each of them goes on a two-week hiatus to make way for the Esports World Cup, which starts on July 4 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

  • League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC)

    After three weeks of play in LEC 2024 Summer, a clear divide has become evident with Fnatic (6-1), SK Gaming (6-1), Team BDS (6-1) and G2 Esports (5-2) filling the top-four places on the table.

    This week’s games will feature a massive clash between Fnatic and SK Gaming, which could result in the winner taking top spot before the break.

  • League of Legends Pro League (LPL)

    Similarly to most LPL splits, JD Gaming, Bilibili Gaming and Top Esports have been dominant in the LPL 2024 Summer Placements, with each of those teams topping their group with undefeated records.

    The last five days of the placement matches will determine qualification for the Rumble Stage. Anyone’s Legend, Bilibili Gaming, JD Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Top Esports have already locked in their spots.

  • League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK)

    Following their Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) triumph, Gen.G have returned to the LCK in dominant fashion and sit atop the table with a 4-0 record.

    Kwangdong Freecs, Hanwha Life Esports, T1 and Dplus KIA are chasing Gen.G, and all of those teams own a 3-1 record heading into the final week of play before the break.

  • League of Legends Championship Series (LCS)

    Cloud9 and Team Liquid are the only two teams that remain undefeated after two series, with both squads holding a +3 map difference.

    After starting their summer split later than the rest of the major regions, the LCS will only have three game weeks before having a three-week break for the Esports World Cup.
