Ninjas in Pyjamas confirmed on Wednesday that their academy player Jacob “jocab” Nerheden will continue to stand in for the Counter-Strike team for the rest of 2024.

The announcement came via a short video, where manager Björn “THREAT” Pers and head coach Richard “Xizt” Landström talked about the team’s plans.

Xizt explained that NiP decided to keep jocab in the side because of the ongoing health issues with Max “maxster” Jansson.

“The good news is that he’s [maxster] doing better and better every day, but we felt that he’s not going to be ready to practice, boot camp, and get some officials in before heading to the RMRs,” he said.
